We’re here to connect people with their surroundings. We believe in the power of purposeful design and artistic storytelling through items, items that are thoughtfully sought out, picked, crafted, and commissioned.
OUR STORY
In 2019, bride-to-be Kenzie (Short) Veit looked around NWA for any kind of event rental company offering something different, something modern. She struggled to find items that truly spoke to her and her personality, pieces that were eclectic and one-of-a-kind. Kenzie began hand-selecting pieces from local businesses in the area, piece-mealing her own glassware, linens, and flatware together to create the tablescape she had envisioned.
In an effort to help other brides save time and money, Kenzie decided to launch HOST just several months later, offering a professional design service to accompany a growing library of stunning items. Items that leave clients saying, “Finally – this is exactly what I’ve been looking for!”

What we bring to the table
With a professional design background and as a design-focused service, HOST offers something more than just catalog-style browsing for rentals and hitting a ‘submit’ button. We offer our expert opinions via design consultation, transforming a space and bringing it to its fullest potential.
We believe that the quality of the space around us affects how we act and interact, which is why our approach to event-design is very people-centered rather than just item-centered. What a special (and rare) opportunity to be able to gather around a table and celebrate those around us. That’s why we’re here, to let the ambiance of a moment match the significance of it, and to make the beauty of celebrating beautiful.

WE ARE Introduced
Have you browsed our inventory and like what you see? When you decide you’re ready to let us help you HOST your big day, fill out our inquiry form here. We’ll make sure to set up proper introductions within 1-2 business days. (psst, make sure to include all the little details and ideas you have after perusing our items: ‘I have to have those linens.’ ‘I’m in love with those goblets.’)

WE Dream TOGETHER
This is the fun part. Looking for ‘timeless romantic’ rentals, or a ‘modern sleek’ tablescape? After your inquiry, we’ll send over more details on how to accomplish all that you’re looking for, and then some. We’ll include customized packages and offerings, and if you need extra help from a designer’s perspective, we’ll offer a little bit of guidance, too.

WE Seal the Deal
Next, we’ll finalize your package and item selections, payment schedule, and a contract to seal the deal, all tailored specifically to you and your special event. Sit back and relax while we gather the goods and get everything ready for the big day. (Don’t worry, we’re just a phone call away if you have any questions or simply want to chat).

We'll see you at your event! We’ll pack extras, show up early, and even stay late to make sure you’re 110% taken care of, from beginning to end. Don’t be surprised if we check in closer to the event to see how we can help take any last-minute items off your plate. (Who knows? We may even send over a Starbucks pick-me-up...)
MEET Kenzie
Meet HOST’s founder, Kenzie Veit. With an interior design and entrepreneurial background, Kenzie holds a seemingly innate passion for people and design. Whether it’s a consultation session on design schemes or exploring new tones and textures to add to HOST’s collection, Kenzie loves the ever-evolving nature of transforming a space into an experience.
Before HOST, and before her work as an interior designer, Kenzie ran her own weaving shop sold online and throughout several mom-and-pop stores in the NWA area. Her hand-crafted wall hangings and accessories still sit in homes across the nation today. As a lifelong maker, Kenzie deeply values supporting small businesses, especially in Northwest Arkansas. One of her greatest joys with HOST is the ability to support some of these artisans by adding their items to HOST’s collection, things that are irreplicable and 100% unique to the shop.
